I can't recommend this unit. It literally shorted out the minute I plugged it in. I heard the distinctive little electrical buzz and watched the green light go out. And there is no good recourse with the company, because you have to ship back the defective unit at your own cost. Look elsewhere.
Whenis a Dell not a Dell? September 5, 2010

Ordered, but did not receive a Dell PA16 adaptor but some non-descript adaptor with chinese characters all over it. Amazon agreed to process a refund to my gift card and initiate a return authorization, but would not secure a replacement product. Very displeased with entire episode.

I just got it in the mail today. I was afraid I wasn't going to get a good product for the price I paid, but I was wrong! I am very pleased and it got delivered right before school started. :)

I only received the part of the adaptor that goes from the box to the laptop, which was okay because the connection that was bad on my old one was the one into the laptop. However, the picture shows the whole thing from the wall to the box to the laptop.
